Once you restore an old backup, you will not see any historical data from the time of that backup until new data starts to be collected. Since you restored a backup from the previous day, this can be up to 24 hours. However older data for week/month/year should be visible when you navigate to Status -> Devices -> (drill-down into device) -> (drill-down into test) -> Long Term History. Are you unable to pull up an data on this report, or any custom performance report?

Sysadmin,
I did fresh install 4.8 and restored from daily backup, Yes I'm not able to see my pervious historical data. Do I need to restore some other stuff too beside just backup-03-02-10,03-00.tar.gz?
Thanks,

Hi,
My restore procedure
---------------------
1. Fresh Install 4.8 on Linux.
2. Restore daily backup-03-02-10,03-00.tar.gz
3. Restart traverse 4.8
Just an update, I did see some comparison and did see historical data for some devices but in majority data was missing. Also I noticed that I’m not able to see history in event manager for acknowledged and Suppressed tests. I'm not sure if this Daily backup is properly restoring everything or I’m not doing it properly. Let me know if there is any procedure available for disaster recovery test for Traverse.
Thanks,
AGZ

Hello aligzaidi,
I assume you followed the restore procedure in the Traverse 4.8 User Guide under "17.4 DGE Database Maintenance on Unix/Linux".
If you are still experiencing issues, please try the steps in the sub-section labeled "Repair the MySQL DGE Database" within the same section. It is located on page 368 of the User Guide.
Thank you.
