Upgrade version 4.8 to 5.0

I have the 4.8 version of Traverse Trial, which is the procedure to upgrade to version 5.0 without losing my data collected?

Hi Rafael,

Upgrading a trial installation of Traverse 4.8 is no different from upgrading a production environment. Once you have downloaded the latest 5.0 packages from our support site, follow the instructions from the User Guide to launch the installer. The Windows installer will automatically detect that an earlier version of Traverse is installed. For Solaris/Linux, simply point to the existing Traverse directory when asked for the installation directory. The installer will automatically preserve your existing configuration and historical performance data and apply any necessary schema changes.

Please note that during the upgrade, you will be asked to provide a new license key for Traverse 5.0. This step is required to activate some of the new features introduced in this version. Existing Traverse users or active evaluations can request a new key by sending email to support@zyrion.com.
